Jeep Renegade is the car to get for safety reasons.

First of all, before you read everything, I was not asked by Jeep to post this and I just did it because I felt everyone needs to see this.  This is my key to my 2018 Jeep Renegade sport 4X4.  While at first glance it may look like a key, but to me it means a lot more.  This key represents the heroic sacrifice my Jeep made to keep my husband safe on his way to work day in and day out.  We traded our daughters Scion IQ for this car because of the safety features, room , the price isn't bad and it was a great second car for our family.  We took our Jeep to Holy Jim in Trabuco Canyon way before the fires destroyed it.  We took the dogs to the dog park and the kids to school in it.  It was the car my husband and I fought over to drive places because it was comfortable and cute with great gas mileage.

Earlier this week, my husband was in an accident on the freeway on his way to work.  I won't go into details over what happened because I am not sure but what I know is, my husband texted me a picture of the car and said don't worry it will be ok.  Of course, I worried!  He sent me a photo of our beloved Jeep (we named the Brave little Toaster because Jeep people called it a toaster Jeep) on its side on the freeway!!!!

I don't know about you, but in my mind my husband was on the side of the road bloody and on a stretcher barely hanging on to text me not to worry.  So, when I finally saw my husband and held onto him for dear life making sure he was really here, he told me the car rolled several times during the incident and his saving grace was the airbags and his seatbelt.  I mean come on guys we all know that seatbelts save lives but really THEY SAVE LIVES and so did my Jeep!  We found out the next day that the car is a total loss and I just went to say goodbye to my Brave Little Toaster Jeep and while I was there ugly crying, I took some pictures.  So, disclaimer here, there is no blood in the car and it's just a mangled piece of metal with airbags fully deployed.

After seeing these photos, everyone from the tow truck guy to the doctors treating my husband said they could not believe he survived the wreck.  If it wasn't for the 5 star safety rating on this Jeep, I do not think he would be here today.  The question you are all thinking is, would I buy another Renegade?  If I had the money I would definitely buy another Renegade but at the moment we are not in the position to get another one.  But I totally recommend you go take a look at these cars because it could be your life that is saved because of the Jeep.

OMG!😳 God Bless! 🙏 I'm glad your husband is ok! I had a huge pine tree come down on my Liberty when I was driving during a nasty spring storm. A few dents & cracked windshield. The firemen who got the tree off Jethro, (my Liberty), were blown away seeing how little damage there was. I didn't have a scratch. That's when I committed to only drive a Jeep. ✌
